Our charity
We are Teens Unite
The only organisation in the UK to provide ongoing support to 13-24 year old's during, and after cancer.

We bring teenagers and young adults with a shared experience
of cancer, together.
Through our activities, short residential breaks, and programmes, they can live positively with, and beyond their diagnosis.
We ensure young people have the opportunity to thrive, not just survive following cancer.
Improving young lives
For teenagers and young adults, cancer is a lonely and isolating experience, and it brings a specific set of challenges at a key developmental stage of their life.

It impacts their mental and physical health, friendships, appearance, education, employment, aspirations, and sense of belonging.
But through Teens Unite, they face everything cancer throws at them, together.

When key milestones are missed, their independence is taken away, and their life is put on hold, Teens Unite prevents cancer from dictating their years as a teenager and young adult, and defining the future ahead.

Whether a young person is currently going through cancer, or has experienced it in the past, our long-term support provides opportunities to learn new skills, find friendship, challenge themselves, and rebuild their lives, in a supportive space where everyone understands what each other is going through.

What we do

We unite 13-24 year-olds with a shared experienced of cancer through regular activities (in-person and online), short residential breaks, and specialist programmes.
These are tailored to suit the needs of young people at every stage of their diagnosis and recovery, and ensure they don't have to overcome the challenges of cancer at this age, alone.
With our support, they continue to live to the fullest, and reach their potential, without cancer holding them back.

And we know that cancer doesn't just affect the person diagnosed, but those closest to them - so we offer family support to parents and siblings, too.

Why our support is needed
Over 40,000 teenagers and young adults are currently living with cancer and the lasting effects of their diagnosis in the UK.
A further 2,500 cases will be diagnosed in this age group this year.

Teens Unite’s activities have saved my life. I now feel free to be myself, learn new and exciting things, whilst meeting awesome people every day, who understand what it’s like to have cancer at this age.
